A good article , the players may say they love the manager …but I’d rather be respected than loved in a managerial position. As for coaching Cunha well perhaps GON has …..pity he should focus on stop being stubborn with his defensive set up , and then perhaps he could round it off with stopping snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as displayed in the first 10 matches .

I’m far from convinced GON is the New Messiah …..however Cunha may well be.

Another insightful article. I am not a GON fan, but there is no doubt the players love him and go into every game giving their all for him and the fans.

Well said Johnny - as ever !! 100% agreement anyone who says that squad isn’t together as one is very much mistaken - Bournemouth at home is HUGE a win there on a potential banana skin match will propel us forward even more - next 5-6 we have to be taking minimum 10 points in my view - as when you look after there will be a repeat of the opening fixtures again

Yes, although it feels as if there is now breathing space for O’Neil now. The recent form is good and the players are clearly with him.

Another excellent article Johnny. There is no question that Cunha is approaching the same level of importance to the team that the likes of Neves and Jimenez (pre injury) had. I think the big worry for all Wolves fans is how long we will keep him before Fosun decide to “cash in” 🙄. For now we just have to enjoy watching a player who is not only remarkably talented but plays with a smile on his face.

Great article, captures the day perfectly. It reminded me in a few ways of Chelsea away last season. I agree with MC re keeping Lemina at centre half 😂 The midfield looked more balanced too. The fans from the start of the second half 💙The Raul rendition 💙 Lemina assist 💙 Many, many plus points and without getting carried away we now have hope. Confidence means so much in football

Lemina had an outstanding game and was better than some of the recognised CBs who have played this season. There is definitely a case for leaving him at the back for now.

I was enjoying reading this until it all went wrong at the end. Even if we had won 10-0 I cannot see fans buying that awful kit. The gold Honved one, released in the week, was far better. Cunha is so good that the only worry is what we do when he is injured, as will surely happen at some stage. For consistent success, this season, we need a fit and scoring Hwang to return, as neither Bellegarde or Rodrigo Gomes will score the quantity of goals he popped in the previous campaign. That is the next trick that Gary needs to pull from his purple hat. As to the future of Gary O'Neil, I guess the sacking by Leicester of Cooper has got Gary looking over his shoulder once again, as the pool of replacement managers will shrink further if Potter gets that job. If the board waits too long the likes of Moyes will already have new jobs, so they may feel compelled to act swiftly, despite the recent upturn in results.

I think the Fulham game has given O’Neil a buffer and more time. The hierarchy have always been behind him and don’t want to make a change, even when some of the fanbase is starting to turn.
